...The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a flood
warning for the following rivers in South Carolina...

  Congaree River At Carolina Eastman affecting Calhoun...Lexington
  and Richland Counties

...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in South Carolina...
  Pee Dee River At Cheraw affecting Chesterfield and Marlboro
  Counties

.Rainfall amounts from 2 to 6 inches have fallen across the Yadkin...
Pee Dee and Broad River Basins over the past 24 to 48 hours. This
combined with upstream reservoir releases will produce minor flooding
on the Congaree River and moderate flooding along the Great Pee Dee
River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to noaa weather radio...
local media or the internet for further statements and updated
forecasts.

...Forecast flooding increased from Minor to Moderate severity...
The Flood Warning continues for
 The Pee Dee River At Cheraw.
* from this afternoon to Saturday evening...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  7 AM Tuesday the stage was 24.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early this
  afternoon and crest around 39.8 feet tomorrow evening. The river
  will fall below flood stage Friday April 28.
* At 30.0 feet...Portions of Riverside Park become flooded along with
  large areas of bottomland forest around Cheraw.
* At 35.0 feet...Areas southeast of the town of Wallace, water will
  flood Old River Road between Community Road and Highway 912 and
  may need to be closed.
* At 40.0 feet...Potential loss of livestock and farm equipment in
  river bottomland near Cheraw is possible.

The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Congaree River At Carolina Eastman
* from this evening to late Friday night...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  8 AM Tuesday the stage was 112.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 115.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tonight
  and crest around 117.4 feet after midnight Thursday morning. The
  river will fall below flood stage Friday April 28.
* At 115.0 feet...Low lying ares on the Carolina Eastman facility
  begin to flood. Also, flooding begins in the Congaree National
  Park. Flooding will begin to occur on the lower boardwalk.
* At 119.0 feet...Extensive flooding occurs in the Congaree
  National Park along with farmland downstream from Columbia.
