FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON TX
523 AM CDT FRI JUL 31 2015

.DISCUSSION...
THE HOT AND HUMID AIRMASS OVER THE AREA WILL INTERACT WITH
WEAK DRY COLD FRONT SAGGING SOUTHWARD THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT. THE FRONT SHOULD MOVE OFF THE COAST THIS EVENING.
WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE MAINLY
SOUTH OF A MADISONVILLE TO LIVINGSTON LINE. TEMPERATURES WILL AGAIN
REACH THE UPPER 90S TO NEAR 100 WITH THE HUMID AIR MAKING FOR
STIFILING CONDITIONS THANKS TO LITTLE IF ANY WIND. NOTICEABLY DRIER
AIR WILL BE OVER THE AREA SATURDAY BUT WILL STILL BE HOT. DEEP
MIXING HEIGHTS WITH LIGHT TRANSPORT WINDS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
THE WEEKEND. MOISTURE SURGES BACK INTO THE AREA FROM THE GULF
SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. A SEABREEZE WILL STRUGGLE TO CREEP
INLAND DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
