.DISCUSSION...WINDS ARE GUSTING FROM BOTH SOUTHERLY AND NORTHERLY
DIRECTIONS THIS AFTERNOON. A STRONG ARCTIC FRONT IS PASSING THROUGH
THE AREA CURRENTLY AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR A SHARP WIND SHIFT AS WELL
AS RAPIDLY FALLING TEMPERATURES. AS TEMPERATURES FALL BELOW FREEZING
TONIGHT...THE POST-FRONTAL RAIN WILL TRANSITION TO FREEZING RAIN AND
EVENTUALLY TO SLEET AND SNOW IN THE DELTA LOCATIONS. ICE
ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO A QUARTER INCH ARE POSSIBLE WITH UP TO AN INCH
OF SLEET/SNOW POSSIBLE IN THE DELTA. PRECIP SHOULD BE EXITED THE
AREA BY MID-AFTERNOON THURSDAY. WINDS WILL CONTINUE GUSTING FROM THE
NORTH UP TO 30 MPH THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON. NO FIRE WEATHER
