Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee
National Weather Service Nashville TN
502 AM CST Wed Jan 17 2018

.DISCUSSION...It`ll feel a little like Siberia today, as bitterly
cold temperatures and sub zero wind chills continue across the area.
Some scattered flurries can also be expected. A nice little warm-up
is still on tap for late week, and temperatures push into the 40s by
Friday and to around 60 degrees by Sunday. A cold front moves in
Sunday night and Monday, bringing along the likelihood for showers
and isolated thunderstorms, but then things dry out again for
Tuesday. Thanks to a zonal flow pattern behind the front, we keep our
mild temperatures even after the cold front passes. Highs next
Tuesday are forecast to be in the lower and middle 50s. South winds
will become gusty over the weekend and early next week, as the front
approaches and moves through the area.
