Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
532 AM MST Wed Feb 22 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Slightly above normal temperatures can be expected to day, ranging
from the low-mid 70s in southeast California to upper 70s across
south-central Arizona. Low-level moisture will linger around for
one more day to keep relative humidity values in the mid-20s to
low-30s during peak heating. West winds will become gusty late
this afternoon and evening, especially near and west of the
Colorado River Valley. A cold front will spread across the region
mid-late Thursday morning and afternoon, and bring a wind shift
out of the north-northwest. Although temperatures will cool about
8-12 degrees on Thursday compared to Wednesday, drier air will
result in relative humidity values falling into the upper teens to
lower 20s.

Note...Additional Fire Weather Forecast information can be found
in the Area Forecast Discussion. See product PHXAFDPSR.
