Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
255 PM PDT Sun Jun 25 2017

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

Current warnings/watches...none.

.DISCUSSION...Today will be the last hot day, with high temperatures
in the 90s from Seattle south. Minimum RH values will be in the 20s,
but good RH recovery is forecast tonight. Fuel moisture is nowhere
near critical levels, except for fine fuels in the lowlands. There is
still snow on the ground above about 4000 feet, so fire danger in
the mountains remains low. Increasing onshore flow will bring a
return to more normal June weather Monday. Next week there will be
morning clouds and afternoon sun each day. High temperatures will be
in the 70s, with higher RH values as well. No lightning is forecast
on any day. There is a chance of showers next weekend.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
