Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
345 PM CDT Sun Apr 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Clouds have given way to sunshine area wide, but still clearing
our southern extent. Fresh and cool high pressure over central Texas
will drift East over the next day or so. As a result the good
wind of today will be gone tomorrow as the center drifts to East
Texas then down to about Beaumont by this time tomorrow. Low
level winds may start out still light North or Northeast,
especially over AR/LA, but near calm winds mid morning to lunch
over E TX will turn around from the South into the afternoon. Only
real speed on the South wind will be over NE TX perhaps being
farther from the center. Southerly winds will pick up for Tuesday
and Wednesday with a warm up and increasing moisture ahead of our
next cold front late Wednesday.
