.DISCUSSION...This forecast is being supplied for planning purposes
only. Please resubmit another spot request Tuesday if needed.

A cold front currently across western Minnesota will slide slowly
east toward the area Tuesday. An area of low pressure will
develop along the front over Iowa Tuesday afternoon and move into
southern Minnesota by late in the day. Moisture will gradually
return to the area tonight and Tuesday ahead of these features,
but with all the dry air that is in place, it will most likely
take into Tuesday afternoon before it will become moist enough to
support showers. The rain chances will be around 20 percent at
Noon Tuesday, 50 percent by mid afternoon and then 60 percent by
late afternoon. Confidence somewhat on the low side with these
rain chances as there are some indications the best rain chances
could hold off until Tuesday evening. With the increasing
moisture, the minimum relative humidity will be between 40 and 50
percent with east winds under 10 mph.
