SPOT FORECAST FOR BIG SWAG...USFS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
1100 AM EST FRI DEC 12 2014

FORECAST IS BASED ON IGNITION TIME OF 1200 EST ON DECEMBER 12.
IF CONDITIONS BECOME UNREPRESENTATIVE, CONTACT THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE.

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE MOVING INTO THE REGION WILL SUPPLY DRY
WEATHER AND LIGHT WINDS FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. HOWEVER...THE
CLEAR SKIES WILL NOT LAST. A SHALLOW LAYER OF MOISTURE PRODUCING
LOW CLOUDS UPSTREAM OVER THE MIDWEST IS MOVING TOWARD EASTERN
KENTUCKY. THIS SHOULD RESULT IN A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF LOW
CLOUDS MOVING INTO THE REGION TONIGHT...AND PERSISTING INTO
SATURDAY. THERE IS SOME DEGREE OF UNCERTAINTY CONCERNING THE TIMING
AND PERSISTENCE OF THE CLOUDS...WHICH IN TURN WOULD HAVE A DIRECT
IMPACT ON ITEMS SUCH AS TEMPERATURES AND MIXING HEIGHTS ON
SATURDAY.
