.DISCUSSION...

Weak high pressure will persist over the area through today. A
weakening cold front will move across the area tonight, bringing
a 40 percent chance of a wetting rain. Winds will become northwest
through Friday morning behind the front, but then become southerly
by the afternoon.

Note mixing height forecasts are incorporating stable air due to
the cooler waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Local effects could
ultimately result in higher mixing heights, which are expected
to be 4000-5000 feet inland.
