SPOT FORECAST FOR BLACK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SALT LAKE CITY UT
940 PM MDT MON JUL 28 2014

.DISCUSSION...DEEP MONSOONAL MOISTURE IN PLACE ACROSS NORTHERN
UTAH HAS ALLOWED HUMIDITY VALUES TO JUMP CONSIDERABLY. THIS TREND
WILL LAST INTO TUESDAY. A MID LEVEL DISTURBANCE TRACKING NORTH
ACROSS THE DISTRICT COMBINED WITH PLENTY OF MOISTURE WILL CONTINUE
TO HELP SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE
NIGHT AND INTO TOMORROW. WETTING RAINS ARE EXPECTED AT THE BLACK
FIRE AT TIMES THROUGH MIDNIGHT. SECONDARY WEAK WAVES WILL CONTINUE
TO FLOW NORTH ALLOWING SPURTS OF PRECIPITATION. HEART OF THE
SYSTEM EXPECTED TO SETTLE OVER NORTHERN UTAH TOMORROW BRINGING
COOLER TEMPERATURES AND CONTINUED POTENTIAL OF WETTING RAINS TO
THE FIRE SITE...ESPECIALLY DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. DUE TO THE
AMOUNT OF MOISTURE AND PRECIPITATION...WINDS SHOULD REMAIN RATHER
LIGHT AND DRIVEN BY DIURNAL SLOPE FLOWS.
