.DISCUSSION...High pressure ridging aloft will build over Montana
tonight through Thursday. This will once again lead to increasing
afternoon high temperatures with minimum RH values dropping into
the 20 to 30 percent range. The upper ridge is expected to steer
some monsoon moisture into Montana over the next few days leading
to a slight chance to low chance for afternoon and evening
thunderstorms at the burn area. Unfortunately, since Montana is at
the extreme northern extent of the monsoon flow, any
thunderstorms that develop could be mainly dry or at best a mix of
wet and dry storms.
