THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF DEEP SOUTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE AREA IS EXPECTED TO MOVE SOUTHWEST
ALONG THE TEXAS GULF COAST SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY BEFORE
WEAKENING THURSDAY OVER NORTHEAST MEXICO. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE ON THE INCREASE WITH BEST CHANCES FOR HEAVY RAIN MONDAY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. LOCAL DOWNBURSTS COULD PRODUCE RAINFALL AMOUNTS
OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WHICH MAY PRODUCE NUISANCE FLOODING OF LOW-LYING
AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. ALSO, GUSTY WINDS OF UP TO 40 MPH ARE
POSSIBLE WITH ANY OF THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE ACROSS THE
LOWER TEXAS COASTAL WATERS SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY. SOME OF
THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS BETWEEN
25 AND 35 KNOTS, LOCALLY HIGHER SEAS, LIGHTNING STRIKES AND HEAVY
RAINFALL.
