Showers and thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon across
the northwest areas and will then spread southeast across the rest
of the region tonight as a cold front crosses the region.
Thunderstorms may be accompanied by brief heavy rain and strong gusty
winds, especially tonight, mainly across northern and western
portions of the region.
