WILL RESULT IN MODERATE TO HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FOR
THE NORTH TO NORTHWEST WIND SNOW BELTS NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR THROUGH
TONIGHT. SEE THE LATEST LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNINGS AND ADVISORIES FOR
FURTHER DETAILS.

WAVES AS HIGH AS 8 TO 9 FEET MAY CAUSE SOME MINOR BEACH EROSION IN
AREAS NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR EXPOSED TO NORTH TO NORTHWEST WINDS THROUGH
THIS EVENING.

AN INVASION OF ARCTIC AIR BEGINNING NEXT TUESDAY WILL LOWER WIND
CHILLS TOWARD 25 BELOW ZERO OVER THE INTERIOR WEST HALF BY WEDNESDAY
MORNING. THIS COLD AIR INVASION WILL ALSO RESULT IN MODERATE TO HEAVY
LAKE EFFECT SNOWS IN AREAS NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR FAVORED BY WEST WINDS.
WAVES BUILDING AS HIGH AS 8 TO 10 FEET NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR IN THESE
SAME AREAS WILL ALSO CAUSE SOME MINOR BEACH EROSION ALONG THE SHORE.
