THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...

COASTAL WATERS OFF THE COAST FROM LITCHFIELD BEACH TO GARDEN CITY
NORTH TO MYRTLE BEACH OUT 15 NM...

AT 416 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS AND
FREQUENT LIGHTNING. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM NEAR GARDEN CITY TO NEAR MURRELLS INLET TO NEAR
DEBORDIEU COLONY TO 10 NM NORTHWEST OF YAWKEY SOUTH ISLAND...MOVING
EAST AT 5 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

YOUR BEST COURSE OF ACTION DURING THUNDERSTORMS IS TO SEEK SAFE
HARBOR. HOWEVER IF YOU AREA CAUGHT ON THE OPEN WATER STAY BELOW DECK
IF POSSIBLE AND STAY AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED METAL OBJECTS UNTIL THESE
STORMS PASS. MAKE SURE EVERYONE ON BOARD IS WEARING LIFE JACKETS.
