.NOW...

AT 730 PM MDT...A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS HAD FORMED ON OUTFLOW
BOUNDARIES ACROSS SOUTHERN DONA ANA COUNTY AND NORTHERN EL PASO
COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AND NORTHEAST AND
PRODUCING AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN. MOST OF THE STORMS OVER SOUTHERN
DONA ANA COUNTY WERE OVER RURAL AREAS WEST OF INTERSTATE 10. OVER
EL PASO THE STORMS WERE LOCATED BETWEEN ANTHONY AND CANUTILLO ON
THE WEST SIDE OF THE FRANKLIN MOUNTAINS...AND ALSO OVER THE
FRANKLIN MOUNTAINS NORTH OF TRANS MOUNTAIN ROAD. THE STORMS WERE
HEADING TOWARD HIGHWAY 54 AND CHAPARRAL.

LOCAL HEAVY RAIN MAY CAUSE ISOLATED MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING
URBAN AREAS AND ROADWAYS. THERE MAY ALSO BE SHORT-TERM RUNNING
WATER IN ARROYOS ACROSS THESE AREAS. IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY FLOOD
WATER MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND AND DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE TROUGH
FLOOD WATER.
