...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 293 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS
EVENING...

Showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop over portions
of the Rio Grande plains, southern Edwards Plateau and Hill
Country through 7 PM CDT. Most of the activity will develop along
and north of a Del Rio to Kerrville to Georgetown line along a
cold front. As this cold front begins to move southward late this
afternoon, additional showers and storms will develop. There will
likely be strong to severe thunderstorm development this afternoon
and evening, with large hail, damaging winds and locally heavy
rainfall possible.
