...Hot and Dry This Afternoon...

Conditions will be hot and mainly dry across East Central Florida
this afternoon...especially for interior locations. This includes
Sanford...Orlando...Kissimmee...and Leesburg. Locations near the
coast will also remain dry...but will have the modest benefits of the
nearby ocean to help keep temperatures just a few degrees lower than
those well inland.

In general...skies will be mostly sunny across East Central Florida.
Winds will be southeast between 10 to 15 mph and breezy at times.
Conditions will remain conducive for wildfire activity.

At area beaches...beach-goers should be aware of the high risk of rip
currents. Check with lifeguards upon arriving at the beach and
entering the surf.
