URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE...CORRECTED
National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard CA
225 PM PST Mon Feb 19 2018

Corrected Ventura Coastal Zone

...GUSTY WEST TO NORTH WINDS THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...

...SUB-FREEZING LOW TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY
MORNINGS...

.Gusty west to north winds will continue through at least this
evening as an inside tracking low pressure system sweeps through
Nevada. The strongest winds are expected across Santa Barbara
county, the Antelope Valley, and the Ventura County coasts where
gusts between 40 and 50 mph are likely at times. The winds will
peak and be most widespread Monday this afternoon. Gusty winds are
also expected in some of the mountains, but that will be handled
by the Winter Weather Advisory (see WSWLOX).

On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, as the winds weaken and a very
cold air mass settles over the area, areas of near or below
freezing temperatures are likely over portions of Ventura, Santa
Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
