...A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR EDDY COUNTY...THE VAN HORN
AND HIGHWAY 54 CORRIDOR...AND THE MARFA PLATEAU THROUGH LATE
THIS AFTERNOON...

.A STRONG UPPER TROUGH WILL EXIT THE AREA TODAY...BUT STRONG
WINDS WILL REMAIN IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE GUADALUPE AND
DAVIS MOUNTAINS THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON. VERY WINDY CONDITIONS
WILL ALSO MIX DOWN INTO THE ADJACENT PLAINS AND LOWER ELEVATIONS
WHERE A WIND ADVISORY WILL BE IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON.
