...ISOLATED STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRED LATE SUNDAY
AFTERNOON...

A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON
OVER PORTIONS OF THE LITTLE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY AND EASTERN
MOGOLLON RIM.

AT 514 PM MST...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING WAS ISSUED FOR THE
AREA NEAR CHEVELON BUTTE...AROUND 23 MILES SOUTH OF WINSLOW. RADAR
INDICATED THIS STORM WAS CAPABLE OF QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS
IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.

AT 543 PM...ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING WAS ISSUED FOR A
STORM 4 TO 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF SNOWFLAKE. THIS STORM WAS CAPABLE OF
HALF DOLLAR SIZE HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.

NO REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER HAVE BEEN RECEIVED FROM EITHER OF THESE
LOCATIONS...AS THE STORMS GENERALLY AFFECTED RURAL AREAS. IF YOU
OBSERVED SEVERE WEATHER...PLEASE RELAY YOUR REPORTS TO THE NATIONAL
WEATHER SERVICE AT WEATHER.GOV/FLAGSTAFF AND CLICKING SUBMIT REPORT
NEAR THE TOP LEFT SIDE OF THE PAGE.
