The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg SC has
confirmed an EF1 tornado on the west-southwest side of Simpsonville
in Greenville County South Carolina on November 30 2016.
An EF1 tornado with maximum winds around 110 mph moved along a track
from southwest of Simpsonville to northeast of Simpsonville. Much of
the damage was in the EF0 range. The most intense area of damage
occurred along West Georgia Road several miles southwest of
Simpsonville. In this area, numerous well built homes had roof and
siding damage and extensive tree damage occurred.
