...ELEVATED FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON TO EARLY EVENING...

HIGH PRESSURE WILL DOMINATE TODAY WITH A VERY DRY AIR MASS
SETTLING IN OVER THE REGION. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED
TO RISE INTO THE 60S WITH AFTERNOON HUMIDITY DROPPING INTO THE
20TH PERCENTILE FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE STATE. SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST
WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH WITH SOME GUSTS ARE EXPECTED...AND COMBINED
WITH THE LOWER RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES...WILL COMBINE TO CREATE
AN ENHANCED WILD FIRE DANGER.

ALSO...THESE WEATHER CONDITIONS...WHEN COMBINED WITH DRY AND DORMANT
VEGETATION...WILL CREATE AN ELEVATED POTENTIAL FOR FOR RAPID FIRE
GROWTH AND SPREAD DURING THE AFTERNOON TO EARLY EVENING HOURS,

THESE CONDITIONS WILL ALLOW ANY WILDFIRES THAT START TO SPREAD
QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE OUTDOORS THIS AFTERNOON...BE CAREFUL WITH
FIRE. OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT ADVISED.
