...VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER TODAY MAINLY ACROSS NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA...

WEST WINDS WILL GUST TO AROUND 35 MILES AN HOUR TODAY, AND
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL FALL INTO THE 35 TO 45 PERCENT RANGE THIS
AFTERNOON IN MOST PLACES. THE COMBINATION OF THE GUSTY WINDS,
LOWER HUMIDITY VALUES, AND ANTECEDENT DRY CONDITIONS WILL RESULT
IN A VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER TODAY ACROSS MAINLY NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA.

THE FIRE DANGER WILL BE SOMEWHAT LOWER ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHEAST
OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS DUE TO SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL THAT
OCCURRED SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
