.DISCUSSION...DRY WEATHER AND ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPERATURES WILL
CONTINUE TODAY. SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL BE BREEZY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS
NORTHEAST WYOMING AND SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA. MOST PLACES
WILL BE IN THE VERY HIGH CATEGORY TODAY...WITH NORTHWEST SD REMAINING
IN THE HIGH CATEGORY. A COOL FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA
TONIGHT...BRINGING SOME SHOWERS MAINLY TO SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH
DAKOTA TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL BE COOLER AND
NORTHWEST WINDS WILL BE BREEZY ON WEDNESDAY...WITH THE RANGE LAND
FIRE DANGER IN THE MODERATE CATEGORY.

VERY LOW MOISTURE CONTENT OF GRASSES...AND OTHER DRY
ORGANIC MATERIAL ON THE GROUND...INDICATE THAT DANGEROUS
BURNING CONDITIONS EXIST. FIRES WILL SPREAD RAPIDLY AND
SHOW ERRATIC BEHAVIOR. OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

POTENTIAL FOR A FIRE OCCURRENCE. OUTDOOR BURNING SHOULD BE
RESTRICTED TO EARLY MORNING OR EVENING HOURS WHEN WIND SPEEDS
ARE USUALLY LOWER AND THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY IS HIGHER.
