DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
944 AM EDT WED MAY 4 2016

...All river forecast points have remained below flood stage through
this morning...

Widely varying rainfall amounts have been reported during the past
24 hours as a cold front moved through the area...ranging from a
trace to half an inch in the Midlands and up to an inch in the lower
Savannah River Basin in the CSRA. River stage rises from rainfall
over the past 3 days across the region has occurred especially on
the Enoree...Broad...Wateree...and Congaree Rivers.

Much drier conditions will occur as high pressure builds in behind
the front over the next 2 days...however cold air aloft and strong
upper level disturbances passing overhead may still spark spotty
areas of light rainfall in the Pee Dee and along the Coastal Plain
through Thursday. No river forecast points are expected to reach
flood stage and overall stages will slowly fall.
