HEAVY SNOW CONTINUES TO FALL ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA LATE THIS AFTERNOON. AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN AS HIGH
AS 15 INCHES ACROSS THE AREA...AND THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
THE EVENING HOURS. BLIZZARD TO NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS HAVE
DEVELOPED ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80. WHITE OUT CONDITIONS
WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT AS WINDS WILL GUSTS AS HIGH AS 45 MPH.
MONDAY WILL BE DRY AND COLD FOR MUCH OF THE AREA...THOUGH LAKE
EFFECT SNOW IS POSSIBLE IN THE MORNING INTO PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST
INDIANA. HIGHS WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER TEENS. THERE IS A LOW
CHANCE FOR SNOW MONDAY NIGHT...THEN TUESDAY NIGHT...A CLIPPER
SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF ACCUMULATING SNOW TO
MUCH OF THE AREA.
