...A period of snow expected late tonight into early Thursday...

Steadier snow will overspread the southern tier counties of New
York, including portions of the Catskills, through 1 AM. Snow
will then continue overnight into early Thursday morning,
accumulating 1 to 3 inches, with the greatest totals over the
higher terrain. After daybreak, snow should taper off, with most
of the snow over by 9 or 10 am.

Late night travelers, as well as early morning commuters on
Thursday, should be prepared for slippery, snow covered roads, and
allow extra time to reach their destinations.
