...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN WHARTON...
SOUTHWESTERN BRAZORIA AND NORTHWESTERN MATAGORDA COUNTIES THROUGH 245
AM CDT...

At 216 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Markham, or 11 miles northwest of Bay City, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bay City, Sweeny, Markham, Van Vleck, and Danevang.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
