...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN ORLEANS AND
NORTHWESTERN JEFFERSON PARISHES...

At 129 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Westwego, or
over Avondale. The storm is drifting southwest.

Locations impacted include...
New Orleans, Metairie, Marrero, Harvey, Avondale, Timberlane,
Jefferson, Gretna, Harahan, Westwego, Jean Lafitte, Woodmere,
Elmwood, Terrytown, Bridge City, River Ridge, Estelle, Waggaman, Ama
and Barataria.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
