NORTH CENTRAL PLAQUEMINES PARISHES...

AT 1037 AM CDT...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 22 MILES NORTHEAST
OF POINTE A LA HACHE...OR 23 MILES NORTHEAST OF PORT SULPHUR...MOVING
SOUTHWEST AT 10 MPH.

WINDS IN EXCESS OF 30 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.

THIS STORM WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AND COASTAL MARSH AREAS OF
SOUTHWESTERN LOWER ST. BERNARD AND NORTH CENTRAL LOWER PLAQUEMINES
PARISHES.

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...AND MAY CAUSE
LOCALIZED FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 10 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.
