...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR WESTERN KIMBLE...SOUTHEASTERN
MENARD AND SOUTHEASTERN SUTTON COUNTIES UNTIL 545 PM CDT...

At 506 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hext TO Junction to 6 miles west of
Telegraph.  Movement was west at 10 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms along
with very heavy rainfall of 1 to 2 inches in an hour and strong
gusty winds in excess of 40 mph.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Telegraph around 510 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include The Intersection Of
Ranch Road 1773 And Ranch Road 1221, The Intersection Of US-
83 And Ranch Road 1773, Cleo, US-83 Near The Kimble-
Menard County Line, I-10 Near The Sutton-
Kimble County Line, South Llano River State Park and US-
377 Near The Kimble-Edwards County Line.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 429 and 457.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
