...ELEVATED SURF THROUGH TUESDAY SOUTH OF THE BERING STRAIT...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN THE CENTRAL BERING SEA WILL CONTINUE TO
PRODUCE STRONG WINDS AND ELEVATED SURF FROM CAPE ROMANZOF NORTH TO
THE BERING STRAIT. STRONG WAVE ACTION CREATED BY THE SOUTH TO
SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 30 TO 45 MPH OVER THE OPEN WATER WILL CREATE
THE ELEVATED SURF CONDITIONS. MINOR BEACH EROSION WILL BE
POSSIBLE THROUGH TUESDAY. THE STRONGEST WINDS AND HIGHEST SURF
ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY MORNING WITH CONDITIONS
IMPROVING LATE IN THE DAY.

A MINOR STORM SURGE IS ALSO ANTICIPATED AS THE LOW MOVES EAST TO
ST MATTHEW ISLAND TUESDAY AFTERNOON. CAUTION SHOULD BE USED IF YOU
ARE NEAR THE BEACH AS WAVE ACTION WILL BE HIGHER THAN NORMAL AND
TIDES WILL BE ELEVATED.
