AFTER LIGHT SNOW DISSIPATES THIS EVENING...SCATTERED FLURRIES MAY
TAKE ITS PLACE...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE WESTERN HALF OF THE DAKOTAS
LATE TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING. CONDITIONS TONIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY SHOULD TURN SHARPLY COLDER AS ARCTIC COLD AIR GLANCES THE
REGION. BY SATURDAY...PRECIPITATION CHANCES ARE INCREASING...AS AN
AREA OF LOW PRESSURE MOVES OUT OF THE ROCKIES AND WORKS ACROSS THE
NORTHERN PLAINS.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL BE FAR RANGING WITH VALUES FROM
AROUND ZERO ACROSS WESTERN MINNESOTA TO AROUND 30 DEGREES OVER FAR
SOUTHWESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA. WITH ARCTIC COLD AIR ATTEMPTING TO TAKE
ROOT OVER THE EASTERN DAKOTAS ON FRIDAY...TEMPERATURES WILL NOT
REBOUND MUCH...WITH HIGHS EXPECTED ONLY IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE
ZERO ACROSS WESTERN MINNESOTA TO AROUND 40 DEGREES OVER FAR
SOUTHWESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA.
