WEATHER SYNOPSIS

ONE MORE DRY AND WARM DAY WILL START THIS FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER
WITH HIGHS ONCE AGAIN RISING IN THE MIDDLE 80S.

THE NEXT CHANCE FOR RAIN WILL MOVE IN AFTER MIDNIGHT FROM THE
NORTHWEST. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO OVERSPREAD
THE REGION THROUGHOUT THE DAY THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT IN
ADVANCE OF A STRONG COLD FRONT.

AFTER THE RAIN MOVES OUT FRIDAY FOLLOWING THE PASSAGE OF THE COLD
FRONT, MUCH COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL RIDE INTO THE REGION. HIGHS
ON SATURDAY WILL BE SOME 15 TO 20 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR THIS
TIME OF YEAR.

A SECOND COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION LATE
SUNDAY INTO MONDAY, BRINGING A BRIEF AND SMALL CHANCE FOR RAIN.
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN AT OR BELOW NORMAL THROUGH THE EARLY PART
OF NEXT WEEK.
