URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...Potent late season winter storm...

.A late season storm will bring several inches of snow to portions
of the Southwest Idaho Highlands and Southern Twin Falls County,
mainly along the Nevada border, through tonight. In addition to
the snow, Northwest winds of 25 to 40 mph with gusts to 55 mph
will continue through this evening before diminishing late
tonight.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT
FRIDAY...

* SNOW AMOUNTS...Total 1 to 4 inches in the valleys and 6 to 11
  inches in the mountains.

* WINDS...Northwest 25 to 40 mph with gusts to 55 mph, decreasing
  to 20 to 30 mph late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult, especially on Highway 51 and
  portions of Highway 93 with reduced visibility due to blowing
  snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will primarily cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
