URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...

.A winter storm is forecast to move through the region Sunday
through Tuesday and will bring heavy snow to portions of
northwest Wisconsin. While there is still some uncertainty in the
axis of heaviest snowfall, confidence in heavy snow for the watch
area is high. Snow is forecast to begin early Sunday evening with
the heaviest snowfall expected during the day Monday. The system
will lift out of the Northland leaving a period of lake effect
snow for portions of Bayfield, Ashland, and Iron Counties.

...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING
THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snowfall is possible. Plan on difficult travel
  conditions, including during the morning and evening commute
  on Monday. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Wisconsin.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening through Monday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will
  cause patchy blowing and drifting snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue
