...Wintry Mix Changing to Snow on Friday...

.An area of low pressure will bring a mixture of snow, sleet, and
possibly freezing rain early Friday morning into the afternoon.
As colder air wraps into the region, a transition to all snow is
expected from northwest to southeast from late morning through
the early afternoon. Be prepared for hazardous travel conditions
due to icy roads as temperatures fall through the 20s Friday
afternoon and evening, bottoming out in the upper teens by
Saturday morning.

6 AM CST SATURDAY...

* TIMING...Early Friday morning through Friday night

* Snow Accumulations...2 to 4 inches...highest in Buchanan and
  Delaware Counties.

* Ice Accumulations...A glazing to less than 0.10 inches, mostly
  on exposed and elevated surfaces.

* WIND...north 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Temperatures...falling into the mid 20s Friday evening and into
  the teens Saturday morning.

* Visibilities...Less than 1 mile at times.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions from icy roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
