HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * SNOW WILL DEVELOP QUICKLY BY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND FALL HEAVY
   AT TIMES THROUGH THE AFTERNOON INTO EARLY EVENING.

 * STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FROM LATE THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING
   WILL RANGE FROM 3 TO 5 INCHES. THE HEAVIEST SNOW AMOUNTS CAN BE
   EXPECTED EAST OF A LINE FROM MANISTIQUE TO SENEY TO DEER PARK.

 * SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL GUST TO 40 MPH...ESPECIALLY NEAR LAKE
   MICHIGAN AND ALSO LAKE SUPERIOR THIS AFTERNOON BEFORE SWITCHING TO
   THE NORTHWEST THIS EVENING.

IMPACTS...

 * THE SNOW WILL BE VERY WET AND HEAVY.

 * ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
   TONIGHT.

 * THE COMBINATION OF HEAVY WET SNOW AND STRONGER WINDS COULD
   BRING DOWN SOME TREE BRANCHES.
