URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...SNOW IN THE SOUTHERN TO CENTRAL IDAHO PANHANDLE FRIDAY...

.A return of some moisture will bring snow to the Idaho Panhandle
beginning Friday afternoon and continuing into Friday night.
Persistent temperatures at or near freezing will allow snow to
stick evening during the afternoon hours with roads becoming slick
and snow covered. Hazardous travel is expected through the Silver
Valley and along Highway 95.

Genesee, Kellogg, Pinehurst, Osburn, Wallace, Mullan,

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM FRIDAY TO 4 AM PST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions,
  including during the evening commute on Friday. Total snow
  accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected.

* WHERE...Moscow, Plummer, Potlatch, Genesee, Kellogg, Pinehurst,
  Osburn, Wallace, Mullan, Fourth of July Pass, Dobson Pass, and
  Lookout Pass.

* WHEN...Light snow will begin Friday afternoon. Expect roads to
  become snow covered by late afternoon and evening with snow
  tapering off to showers late Friday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow covered roads will make for hazardous
  travel late Friday afternoon into Friday night...including
  Interstate 90 through the Silver Valley and over Lookout Pass as
  well as Highway 95 across the Palouse.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

  to 5 inches on the Camas Prairie, are expected.

* WHERE...Peck, Culdesac, Gifford, Craigmont, Nezperce,
  Winchester, and Soldiers Meadow Road.

* WHEN...Light snow will begin late Friday afternoon. Expect roads
  to become snow covered by Friday evening with snow continuing
  through Friday night over the Camas Prairie.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow covered roads will make for hazardous
  travel Friday night...including Highway 95 over the Camas
  Prairie.
