THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE SOUTH PLAINS...ROLLING
PLAINS AND THE FAR SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LATE THIS
AFTERNOON ACROSS THE ROLLING PLAINS GENERALLY ALONG AND EAST OF A
CHILDRESS TO JAYTON LINE AS THE DRYLINE MOVES EAST TO THE ROLLING
PLAINS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP JUST EAST OF THE
DRYLINE AFTER 3 PM. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF PING PONG BALLS AND WIND
GUSTS TO 60 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE SHOULD ANY STORMS FORM.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING
GENERALLY SOUTH OF A GUTHRIE TO LAKE ALAN HENRY LINE. THE DRYLINE
WILL RETREAT TO THE WEST THIS EVENING...AND THE MOISTURE THAT
MOVES IN WITH IT COULD FUEL THE MOVEMENT OR DEVELOPMENT
NORTHEASTWARD OF THUNDERSTORMS THAT FORM IN THE PERMIAN BASIN.
THESE STORMS COULD DEVELOP SUPERCELLULAR CHARACTERISTICS AND
SUPPORT GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL RETURN TO THE AREA ON SUNDAY AND PERSIST
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE AND
PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
