...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
TEXAS PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS FROM LATE THIS
MORNING THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING...

WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR RAPID FIRE SPREAD IN
WILDLAND GRASSES.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY: 15 TO 20 PERCENT.

* WIND: SWITCHING TO THE NORTH AND BECOMING SUSTAINED AT 20 TO 30
  MPH BEHIND A MORNING COLD FRONT. THE GUSTY WINDS WILL CONTINUE
  THROUGH THE AFTERNOON BEFORE DECREASING THIS EVENING.

* TEMPERATURE: 5 TO 15 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE.

* FUELS: DRY AND CURED.

* TIMING: LATE MORNING THROUGH EARLY EVENING.

THESE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF LARGE
GRASS FIRES. OUTDOOR BURNING AND ACTIVITIES THAT CAUSE OPEN
SPARKS OR FLAMES ARE DISCOURAGED.
