THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER IT WILL BE
A WARM DAY TODAY. HIGHS WILL CLIMB INTO THE MID 90S THIS
AFTERNOON. WHILE THESE TEMPERATURES ARE NOT ABNORMAL FOR THIS TIME
OF YEAR...THE COMBINATION OF WARM TEMPERATURES AND VERY MOIST AIR
WILL PUSH HEAT INDICES TO BETWEEN 100 AND 105 DEGREES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

THE WARMING TREND WILL CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY...WITH HIGH
TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO BE A LITTLE WARMER...MAINLY IN THE UPPER
90S SUNDAY AFTERNOON. AGAIN...WHILE THESE TEMPERATURES ARE NOT ABNORMAL
FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR...THE COMBINATION OF WARM TEMPERATURES AND
VERY MOIST AIR WILL PUSH HEAT INDICES UP TO BETWEEN 100 AND 105
DEGREES. MANY PLACES IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN ARKANSAS WILL SEE
SEVERAL HOURS OF HEAT INDICES AROUND 105 DEGREES SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...USHERING IN A
SIGNIFICANT COOL DOWN FOR MOST OF NEXT WEEK. SOME SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS MAY ACCOMPANY THE FRONT BUT SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT OR MONDAY. TRANQUIL WEATHER WILL PREVAIL
THROUGH THE MUCH OF NEXT WEEK.
