THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FEW ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH
TONIGHT...WITH SOME LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL POSSIBLE. AS
RESULT...AN ISOLATED FLASH FLOOD THREAT WILL EXIST...ALONG WITH
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

SOME RIVER FLOODING IS ONGOING OR EXPECTED AS A RESULT OF RECENT
HEAVY RAINFALL. THE WHITE RIVER AT AUGUSTA AND CACHE RIVER AT
PATTERSON WILL CONTINUE TO SEE FLOODING...WITH CRESTS EXPECTED TO
REMAIN IN THE MINOR FLOOD CATEGORY. THE OUACHITA RIVER IS FORECAST
TO REACH FLOOD STAGE AT CAMDEN AND THATCHER LOCK AND DAM BY THIS
WEEKEND.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE STATE SATURDAY INTO
SUNDAY. EXPECT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ALONG AND AHEAD OF THIS
FRONT. WHILE THE OVERALL THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER WILL REMAIN
LOW WITH THIS FRONT...AN ISOLATED STRONG STORM COULD BE SEEN.
SOME LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE...RESULTING IN
AN ISOLATED FLASH FLOOD THREAT.

BEHIND THIS FRONT...DRIER AIR WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION...WITH
BELOW NORMAL CONDITIONS EXPECTED INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
SOME RAIN CHANCES WILL RETURN LATER NEXT WEEK...THOUGH THE THREAT
FOR HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN LOW AT THIS TIME.
