SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY...ESPECIALLY
DURING THE HEAT OF THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

ANY SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE ISOLATED...WITH STRONG TO DAMAGING WINDS
THE MAIN CONCERN. LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS COULD LEAD TO SPOTTY FLASH
FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

HIT AND MISS PRECIPITATION REMAINS IN THE FORECAST ON SUNDAY.
HEADING INTO NEXT WEEK...A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER
ARKANSAS FROM THE PLAINS. UNDER THE RIDGE...TEMPERATURES WILL HEAT
UP AND RAIN CHANCES WILL DECREASE.

AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES NEXT WEEK WILL GENERALLY RANGE FROM THE
UPPER 90S TO AROUND 105 DEGREES. HEAT INDICES MAY EXCEED 105 DEGREES
IN SPOTS.
