THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST ARKANSAS...
THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL...NORTH MISSISSIPPI...AND WEST TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF
THE MID SOUTH TO THE WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER OVERNIGHT. THE
PRIMARY THREATS WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED TORNADOES.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE MID SOUTH.
SEVERAL INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE MIDSOUTH OVER THE
PAST 24 HOURS OR SO WITH ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN EXPECTED TONIGHT.
FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY IN ASSOCIATION WITH HEAVY RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THE THREAT FOR A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE
ON TUESDAY...MAINLY EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. THE PRIMARY
THREATS WILL BE DAMAGING WIND AS A LARGE BOW OF THUNDERSTORMS
MOVES ACROSS THE MIDSOUTH. TORNADOES ARE ALSO POSSIBLE ALONG ANY
KINKS IN THE BOW.

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL CONTINUE TUESDAY WITH THE PRIMARY AREA
IMPACTED SHIFTING TO THE EAST WITH TIME. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL LIKELY
RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED OVERNIGHT ACROSS THE WESTERN
HALF OF THE MID SOUTH. PLEASE RELAY ANY SEVERE WEATHER OR FLOODING
REPORTS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN MEMPHIS.
