THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST ARKANSAS...
THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL...NORTH MISSISSIPPI...AND WEST TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ON THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING FOR AREAS ALONG AND WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI
RIVER. THIS INCLUDES ALL OF EAST AND NORTHEAST ARKANSAS...THE
MISSOURI BOOTHEEL...FAR WEST TENNESSEE...AND NORTHWEST
MISSISSIPPI. THE PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER RISKS WILL INCLUDE
DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL. THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT SHOULD
DIMINISH LATER THURSDAY EVENING AS INSTABILITY WEAKENS AND STORMS
MOVE INTO EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE MID SOUTH.

A MORE SIGNIFICANT SEVERE WEATHER EPISODE WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE IN
THE WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THERE STILL REMAINS SOME UNCERTAINTY
WITH RESPECT TO THE EXTENT AND PLACEMENT OF SEVERE WEATHER...BUT
CONFIDENCE IS INCREASING THAT SEVERE WEATHER WILL OCCUR. THERE IS
SOME POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SEVERE WEATHER WITH ALL HAZARD
TYPES POSSIBLE ACROSS SOME PORTIONS OF THE MID SOUTH. PLEASE
CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECAST INFORMATION REGARDING THIS
POTENTIAL SEVERE WEATHER EVENT.
