...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN FLEMING COUNTY
THROUGH 830 PM EDT...

At 800 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Carlisle, or 14 miles west of Flemingsburg, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Flemingsburg, Fairview, Pecks Ridge, Craintown, Mount Carmel, Nepton,
Cowan, Foxport, Elizaville, Ewing, and Flemingsburg Junction.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for east central
Kentucky.
