Scattered showers will persist through 1 PM across areas mainly to
the north and east of a Tulia to Plainview to Post line. A few
thunderstorms will be possible with these showers, especially
across the Rolling Plains. Additional rainfall amounts of 1/4 to
1/2 inch will be possible with the heaviest showers and the
thunderstorms. Elsewhere across the South Plains area small light
showers and periods of drizzle can be expected.
