THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL
WISCONSIN...SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN AND SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A WINTERY MIX INCLUDING FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET IS EXPECTED TO
AFFECT SOUTHERN WISCONSIN TODAY AND TONIGHT...AS LOW PRESSURE
MOVES FROM THE EASTERN KANSAS TO NORTHERN ILLINOIS.

THE MIX OF PRECIPITATION WILL TRANSITION TO FREEZING RAIN.
FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CAUSE GLAZING AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
CONDITIONS STARTING THIS MORNING. WHILE MUCH OF THE AREA FROM
MADISON TO SHEBOYGAN SOUTHWARD TRANSITIONS TO MAINLY RAIN...AREAS
OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL LIKELY PERSIST THROUGH TONIGHT
ESPECIALLY NORTH OF A LINE FROM JUST WEST AND NORTH TO MADISON TO
FOND DU LAC.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR MOST OF THE AREA
TODAY...AND AREAS NORTH OF MADISON TO NORTH OF MILWAUKEE
INCLUDING FOND DU LAC...WEST BEND AND BARABOO THROUGH TONIGHT.
THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL BE IN EFFECT ONLY UNTIL AROUND
NOON FOR FAR SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN...UNTIL THE PRECIPITATION
BECOMES ALL RAIN.
